Mark your calendars for the Probus Club of Saskatoon's Annual General Meeting on October 7. Join us as we reflect on the past year, discuss club business, and look forward to the future of friendship, fellowship, and fun. Your participation is vital in shaping the direction of our club.

Executive Nominations for the Coming Year

We are seeking nominations for the executive team to lead our club. Serving on the Executive is a rewarding opportunity to contribute your ideas, meet fellow members, and help ensure our Club continues to thrive in the spirit of Friendship, Fellowship, and Fun.   

No previous Executive experience is necessary. Enthusiasm, teamwork, and a willingness to help are the most important qualifications.

  Here's a brief overview of the positions and the nomination process:

• President: Our current Vice President will be nominated to stand for President.

• Past President: Our current President will transition into the role of Past President.

• Other Executive Positions:

  • Vice President currently Norman who has let his name stand to transition to President

  • Treasurer currently Lin who is stepping down, Ray has let his name stand

  • Secretary currently Julia

 Volunteers Welcome

Volunteer Opportunities: We also welcome volunteers for our social committee to assist with refreshments at our monthly meetings. Would you like to be part of this team?  Our Club also relies on members who generously volunteer their time throughout the year.

We are currently looking for volunteers to join our Social Committee, a small group of volunteers for the social committee alongside one individual to act as the primary lead and point of contact for the Executive and membership assisting with:

• Procuring, and setting out refreshments at our monthly meetings (purchase of coffee grounds etc.  (re-imbursed by Probus Club of Saskatoon 010)

• Helping with set-up and clean-up (disposable cups -  i.e. "clean up" means take out coffee urn for coffee and put coffee urn back into cupboard)

Many hands make light work, and even volunteering a few times each year makes a meaningful contribution.
